TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation.
- Full payment is due 25 days prior to the departure date.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or UPI (Unified Payments Interface).
- In case of late payment, the booking may be subject to cancellation or additional charges.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- If the booking is canceled 30 days or more before the departure date, a refund of 50% of the total amount will be provided.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the departure date will not be eligible for a refund.
- Cancellation charges may vary depending on the policies of third-party service providers (such as hotels, transport providers, etc.).
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-14 business days after the cancellation request is confirmed.
Changes to Bookings
- Changes to bookings (dates, number of travelers, etc.) can be made up to 30 days prior to departure, subject to availability and applicable charges.
- Any changes may incur an additional fee depending on the service provider’s terms and conditions.
Inclusions in the Package
- Transportation (as per the itinerary).
- Accommodation (as per the tour package).
- Two-time meals (breakfast and dinner).
- Medical travel insurance provided by Chale Guru Tour & Travels.
Any additional expenses such as personal items, optional excursions, or tipping are not included in the package price unless specified.
Medical Insurance Coverage
- Chale Guru Tour & Travels provides medical insurance for travelers, covering emergency medical treatment, hospitalization, and repatriation.
- The coverage is limited to medical emergencies that occur during the trip.
- The customer is advised to review the specific terms and conditions of the insurance policy before departure.
- Chale Guru Tour & Travels is not liable for any insurance claims or disputes between the customer and the insurance provider.
Travel Insurance (Non-Medical)
- We strongly recommend that travelers purchase additional non-medical travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as trip cancellations, lost baggage, or flight delays.
- This non-medical insurance is not included in the price of the tour package unless specifically stated.
Travel Documents
- The customer is required to provide valid travel documents at the time of booking, including:
- Aadhaar card (for Indian nationals).
- Passport and visa (for international travel).
- Any other required documents as per the tour destination’s regulations.
Failure to provide valid documents may result in cancellation of the booking or additional charges.
Third-Party Services
- Chale Guru Tour & Travels may arrange third-party services (such as helicopter rides, sightseeing tours, or external transportation) as part of the tour package.
- These services are provided by third-party vendors, and their terms and conditions will apply.
- Chale Guru Tour & Travels is not responsible for any issues, delays, or disruptions caused by third-party service providers.
- Any costs or inconveniences related to third-party service changes or disruptions must be borne by the traveler directly.
Responsibilities of the Customer
- The customer is responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documents before departure.
- The customer must adhere to the laws and regulations of the destination country or region.
- The customer is responsible for any additional costs or penalties arising from failure to comply with travel regulations or guidelines.
Force Majeure
- In case of unforeseen events such as natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or pandemics, we reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the tour.
- Chale Guru Tour & Travels will inform the customer of any changes as soon as possible.
- We are not liable for any resulting inconvenience, and alternative arrangements may incur additional costs.
Travel Delays and Disruptions
- We are not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by third-party service providers.
- In the event of such disruptions, we will assist the customer as much as possible, but any additional costs incurred by the customer will be their responsibility.
Limitation of Liability
- Chale Guru Tour & Travels is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred by the customer during the trip unless caused directly by our negligence or actions.
- We are also not liable for any third-party services and their associated risks.
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be resolved through mediation or arbitration, in accordance with the laws of India.
- Jurisdiction of disputes will be in Dehradun District, Uttarakhand.
Consent to Use of Images
- The customer agrees that Chale Guru Tour & Travels may take photographs and videos during the trip for marketing purposes unless a written objection is provided prior to departure.
Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Any legal disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Dehradun District, Uttarakhand.
